Composing with Color

I’ve been an artist all of my life. Slowly meandering on a creative, fun, healing and never-ending path.

After long long break, and previous painting with acrylics, I took up watercolor painting a few years ago. I immediately loved the fluidity of the water, and the color mixing and flowing on the paper. There are also a lot of tricks and treats with trying to master watercolor. It's a challenge! Sometimes you need to just go with the flow.

More recently I’ve fallen in love with oils. They are smooth and buttery and are a bit more forgiving that watercolor. The journey continues! I still play with acrylic and pastels but always return to oils or watercolor.

You might notice that I like to paint trails or paths or things related to them. I’m thinking this is all a part of my journey. I see the world in colors and shapes, and trying to capture that on canvas is my goal. I like to Compose with Color.
